About Me

Before I started my career in counselling I worked in Business Management roles and learned first hand the impact that work related stress can cause and the effect that can have on your work life balance. Following the death of my mum I felt overwhelmed as my whole world changed, this led me to seek counselling. Untangling my thoughts and feelings helped me and led me on the path of training to be a counsellor to support others with their struggles.

I have worked within healthcare, corporate and school settings,working with adults and young people over the age of 11 years. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work to professional standards and value the importance of building an ethical relationship.

As well as my private practice I also work for a Healthcare Group providing Clinical Supervison to the counsellors working within the EAP. I'm also a counselling tutor for the CPCAB currently teaching Level 2 and Level 3 Counselling qualifications

 I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and Clinical Supervisor and I have the following qualifications;

  • CPCAB Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision

  • CPCAB Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling

  • NCS Level 4 Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

  • ABC Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies
